"Annie"

Two weekends ago, my mom had invited Eden to go see "Annie" that Harding was putting on for Homecoming weekend.  Well she wouldn't go up to Searcy without Michael and I (she is still pretty clingy since having Harper) so we all went to Searcy for one night.  Eden and I went to the play with my mom and Lindsay.  The play was pretty good but it didn't start until 8 pm so Eden was very tired by the time intermission rolled around.  She made it through the play and then ended up not going to bed until around midnight.  She was EXHAUSTED!  She had never seen the movie but now she loves it.  She loves Annie and Sandy (the dog).  By the way, "Annie" used to be my favorite movie growing up and I used to see all the songs all the time.  Now Eden is singing them.  It's so cute.

Lindsay and Eden before the play.

The three of us waiting on mom for a picture.

Harley didn't want to be excluded=)

Mom made it in right before we left.

Sisters being sisters.  Love them!

Eden modeling a hat that Grandmother Clay made her.  Love this picture of Eden.

Eden took this picture of Marilyn and Harper.  She got a great one=)

We had to get back on Saturday for our churches Kiddie Karnival.  Eden couldn't wait to get back and get into her costume.

First Field Trip

Eden had her first field trip the week before Halloween.  They went to Mary's Pumpkin Patch and we all had an awesome time.  We got to ride a hay ride and a train, play on a swing set, jump in a bounce house, pick a pumpkin, pet animals, and much more.  I had a great time finally getting to meet the other moms and putting faces with the names of the kids Eden comes home talking about all the time.  Michael stayed home that morning with Harper so Eden and I could have some one on one time.  She was so excited that I was there and would not leave my side=)

Eden playing with Ava, one of her closest classmates.

 Swinging by herself.

 Hayride together.

Halfway through the hayride they stop and let you out and you can go and do a maze and climb up in a tree house.  It is really neat.

The tree house over looks the maze so if you get stuck someone can help you out if they want to.

Eden wanted to go through the maze and do it all by herself with out any help from me.  I just followed her.  And she did it all by herself fairly quickly.

Eden picking the pumpkin she wanted to take home.

This is the one she really wanted.

Eden on the left and Ava on the right.

 Snack time.

Eden's class picture with Mrs. Stacey.

Have to have a silly face picture.  So cute.
From left to right: Mrs. Stacey, Abigail, Reanna, Canyon, Ava, Nate, Lyla, Eden, Katie, and Ella

For my memory:  As of right now, Eden talks about and plays a lot with Ava, Katie, Lyla, and Ella.  We had a great time that morning together and Eden was very tired by the end of it from running around with all of her classmates.

Zoo Day

On a Wednesday afternoon, Michael took off work and we all went to the Little Rock Zoo.  It was a gorgeous, warm day and we had the zoo to ourselves which was kind of crazy.  I had never been before and we had a great time.  Eden, of course, loved it.  She loves animals and enjoyed walking around and seeing them ALL!!!  I did too=)

The giraffes were a big hit for Eden.

We enjoyed watching this tiger playing in the water.  He went and played in the waterfall, towards the back of the picture, which Eden thought was funny.

Harper's view of the zoo.  She slept the entire time in the sling while we walked around for hours.  We had the best afternoon all together and we were thankful Michael took off for the afternoon so we could hang out.

Gymnastics Halloween Party

For gymnastics the week before Halloween, the kids could wear their costumes and then they had a little party.  Eden wanted to wear her Belle dress, which ended up coming off half way through the obstacle course.  She and the other girls looked so cute.  They all had a lot of fun in their costumes.

I had to throw in a picture of Harper, of course.  Thank you, Aunt Terry and Uncle Joe, for the cute outfit.

Maggie, Eden, Dakota, and Reese.  Presley didn't make this picture.  Eden has a great time with these girls every Tuesday.

 Working on the parallel bars.

Party time.  Miss Heather, in the green shirt, is their gymnastics teacher.  We love her.

Pumpkin Patch 2011

This past Saturday we took off for Motley's Pumpkin Patch after the Arkansas game.  It was such a beautiful day and we had a great time getting out with Harper.  We surprised Eden by showing up there and she remembered everything about it.  We have been the two previous years.  She was so excited and couldn't wait to pick out pumpkins for our front door area.  Harper did well, but she didn't want to stay in the stroller so Michael and I took turns holding her.

Eden petting the animals.  She has no fear sticking her hands into cages and trying to pet animals.  I have to warn her sometimes to watch her fingers.

Eden did a great job this year posing for pictures.  Love her and her smile.

I'm so thankful that Eden doesn't mind holding Harper.  She loves it and asks to do it all the time, especially if Harper's not crying=)

Swinging away.  This is by far still her FAVORITE thing to do.  She never wants to get off, ever.

 Michael and his girls.

Eden waiting for the pig races to begin.

Our big helper.  She wanted to pull the wagon herself.

 Family picture with Harper screaming.

It took some convincing, but we finally got Eden on top of the hay.

Love these pictures of the two girls.  They are so sweet.

They could not be any cuter, could they??

We had such a fun outing.  Eden gets to go to Mary's Pumpkin Patch on Wednesday with her preschool so I will have pictures from that hopefully.  She is so excited to go to a different one and do it all over again.  I've been told that Mary's has a few more activities for the kids to participate in so that will be fun.   Stay tuned.....
