Photo Fun Day

 The other day on saw this photo idea on pinterest and I loved it.  They had the girl doing something similar to this and a little boy flying over a cityscape with a superhero cape.  Loved it.  Well today I knew it was supposed to be cloudy some so I drew this out while we played outside after the park and it was too bright for Eden to even lay down and look up.  We went in for lunch and kept waiting for the rain clouds.  Well finally about two fifteen it started getting dark but it was lightning, bummer.  Well it stopped lightening and blew north of us but it stayed dark long enough to get a few open eyes out of Eden.  The wind even blew her dress up several times with me getting a lens full of her panties.  Hilarious.  I will spare her those on here but I have them, hehe.  This was so fun.  I can't wait to see what else we can do with this but it will definitely have to be on a very cloudy day because looking up into the sky is hard when its bright.  I was on a ladder too.

May Wrap Up

 Eden had her last soccer game on May 19th.  It was bittersweet.  She had a blast playing but it was starting to get hot and she would get tired quickly.  She had a great team and loved having Michael coach her team.  We are hoping she can play fall soccer this year.  That will be nice.  The Upwards program ended the soccer season with a little program and they had an illusionist come and he was pretty cool to watch.  Then every player got a soccer ball.  Eden loves her ball and loved the cookies afterwards.  Upwards was a great program and we highly recommend it.

 Eden and I have been playing a lot of baseball while Harper naps.  We take turns hitting the ball and pitching to each other.  Eden is getting pretty good at hitting.  I need to post some video soon.

 Eden got a hair cut last weekend and she LOVES it. They cut five or so inches off.  We actually went in to get it even shorter but we are starting with it a little shorter and long layers before doing a possible bob next time, maybe....

 She loves wearing her headbands more since its shorter now.  She looks older with shorter hair.  I am hoping it will stay a little more tangle free this summer with all the sweat and pool tangles.

Harper Happenings

 Harper had to go up in car seats.  We switched her on May 19th.  She had surpassed the weight limit on her Chico one.  The weight was 22 lb. and she weighs 24 lbs.  She is now in Eden's old Britax one.  She didn't mind the change.  She can see more and sits more upright which I think she likes.  She is getting too big.  Now this change is not that convenient because when she falls asleep you can't just carry her car seat in anymore.  Bummer!  She usually wakes up and doesn't go back to sleep.  She takes after me and never wants to miss anything=)

 I love messing with Harper's hair after baths.  The next several pictures on different nights and they crack me up.  She is so funny!  I love the mohawk!!!

 I LOVE this girls smile!!!!  She lights up a room and my heart every time I see it!  I can't get enough of it.  Harper flaps her arms when she's excited which is precious.  Eden used to kick her legs.  They are similar yet different and I love it!

Chuck E. Cheese, Please!

Eden got to go to Chuck E. Cheese for the very first time on May, 18th for a friend's birthday party.  Boy, was the girl in heaven.  She loves all rides and games and she had a blast.  She loves the Larry's Pizza tiny game room so Chuck E. Cheese's was AMAZING to her!  Lots of her schoolmates made it to the party so she had a wonderful time playing with them.  And she was not scared of Chuck E. Cheese and all the dancing figures at all.  She danced with them.  She wants to go back but I told her only birthday parties are there, so she would have to have a party or go to one, ha;)

It was a great birthday and it was not crowded at 10:15 in the morning.  Eden will definitely have to go back sometime for something very special.  

May Randoms

We have had a busy May so far.  Here are just a bunch of pictures from what we have been up too.

A little photo shoot with Harper.  I love this outfit on her and its a size 12-18 month and fit perfect.  I can't believe it.

 This was Harper's first time sitting up in a shopping cart.  As you can see, she was not thrilled.  She got very upset and Michael ended up holding her the rest of the time.  Since then she has gotten a little better in them.  She better learn quick;)

 Then the girls played and played outside for hours.  They played so well and loved being together.  Neither of them wanted the day to end.

 While Harper was napping on day, Eden and I made some crafts together.  She loves these hand puppets.

 Michael's work had their big picnic on Cinco de Mayo so we went and Eden had a blast.  They have games and bounce houses for the kids and even face painting.  Eden got a butterfly painted on her face and she LOVED it!  She never wanted to wash her face.

 After the work picnic we went to a Cinco de Mayo party with our church class that the Brown's hosted.  The kids had water gun fights and sack races.  They had so much fun.  Eden couldn't quite figure out how to jump in the sack but it made a cute picture.  Below is a picture of some of the kids that were present.  It was a wonderful night and we had a great time getting together with everyone.
