Harper's First Swing

Eden, Harper, and I went to the park after gymnastics today with Jamie, Lincoln, and Layton. We had a picnic and then played. The park was not crowded so it was especially nice:). When we were about to leave I mentioned trying Harper in the swing and she LOVED it!!! She was grinning ear to ear the entire time. And when it was time to leave and get out she started crying just like Eden always did. So funny! I think we need to get a swing set for the back yard. She would love it this summer.

Harper's In Bible Class=)

 Harper has been going to bible class for about a month now but I finally had my camera for Carrie to take her picture.  There are lots of babies in her class at church which is great.  I know some of them but need to get to know some of the others I don't know so well.  Bible class is right in the middle of her nap time but with all the distractions around her she does well and then crashes on the way home which is fine.  She loves the singing and all the sweet ladies that take care of her during that hour.  Daddy and Mommy like not having to wrestle her during our class=)

Mirror Fun and More

These are just some fun pictures of Harper.  Starting out with her in her Jump-A-Roo.  She loves it so much and thinks it is great.

Yesterday I had some fun with Harper and a mirror Michael and I have in our bedroom.  I brought it out to the living room and Harper thought it was wonderful fun.  She LOVES looking at herself in mirrors.  She has one in her room with her initials on it and lately every time I get her out of her bed or off her changing table to cranes to see herself in it.  It is so funny!

Eden's Playing Soccer, Yay!

 Eden is finally old enough to play Upward Soccer this year.  She is so excited to be playing and loves it.  She had her first game last Saturday and did fairly well.  She is a little timid of getting in the herd but she really wants to get the ball and kick it.  Hopefully she will get over being pushed around a bit.  She did fall over once and cried for a brief second and then kept going.  She has a kid on her team named Caleb and he is pretty good.  He has older sisters that play and he knows how to stop the ball and turn it around and scores over and over again.  His parents kept telling him to pass it, ha.  Poor thing did and nobody knew what to do with it, kind of funny.  Michael is her soccer coach and I think he is enjoying it.  Hopefully they will both grow through this experience.

Next week I will have to get some of her playing.  This week I just took video when she was on the field.

Easter 2012

 We spent Easter in Searcy again this year.  Morgan, Jamie, J. David, and Myles were in Searcy to see Jamie's sister, Natalie, perform in Spring Sing at Harding University.  Lindsay came into town too.  My parents hosted us all.  We had a wonderful time together and doing several Easter activities throughout the weekend.  Eden and J. David were glued at the hips and had a blast together.  They never stop playing and Myles wants to be right in the middle of them.  He is getting so big and loves being able to play with them when they allow it.  Friday we just hung out and the Crumbaugh's came over for dinner. On Saturday, the runners (my dad, Morgan, Lindsay, Michael, and I) woke up early and went on a ten mile run at 6:30 am.  We finished that up and then raced to get ready and eat lunch before heading out to Harding's Easter Egg Hunt on the front lawn.  The kids love this and it is so pretty there.  That afternoon before dinner and Spring Sing we dyed Easter eggs.  Eden and J. David loved this and could have dyed eggs forever.  Then we went to Spring Sing.  Eden LOVES Spring Sing.  All the music, singing, and dancing is right up her alley=)  She watched the entire thing and they even had loud pyrotechnics and they didn't phase her or J. David at all.  Sunday was all about Easter and we did another egg hunt that afternoon.  Tons of pictures to follow:

 ROARRRR!!!!!  Myles was scaring everyone with his dinosaur.  It was the funniest thing and he did it for thirty minutes straight.  He would go up to everyone and roar and we would all pretend to be scared. He thought it was the funniest thing ever and of course it was!

 Dying Easter Eggs

 Can you tell how tired Harper is?  She wouldn't sleep during church which was her nap time so she was extremely tired and her eyes kept watering.

 Easter egg hunt.  We hid eggs and they would rush out the front door to find them.  FYI: the plastic bags are because the eggs started sweating and the dye running so we didn't want it all over their real baskets.

 Harper woke up towards the end so she got to watch for a little bit.  Next year, Harper will be looking for eggs right along with them.
