2012 Family Pumpkin Patch Day

 Every year we try to get to a pumpkin patch.  This year we got to one really late due to Michael's budget ending later in October than usual, but we made it.  Every other year we have gone to Motley's Pumpkin Patch but this year we decided to try Bo Brook Farms Pumpkin Patch.  We had a great time!  They both offer different things so we enjoyed the variety this year.  It was a little cool so we didn't last too long but we accomplished some pictures.

Eden enjoyed all the photo props every where.  She would run from one to another and ask for her picture to be taken.

 Bo Brook has a sunflower garden.  I was GORGEOUS!!!!  There were bees everywhere though=(

 Love all the pictures I was able to get.  The girls tried hard.  If you know the girls you know they can hardly open their eyes in the sun and they can never face it, so it was a chore to get open eyes outside in the sun without major crazy faces, ha!  That is why the sun is behind them in all the pictures which is not the best but it worked.

 There were some beautiful butterflies flying around the sunflowers.  This one landed right beside us.  So pretty!

 One of the main reasons we went to Bo Brook Farms this year is because I had seen other people's pictures of their kids LOVING this corn pit.  I knew the girls would love it and they did!  It was Eden's favorite thing.  We practically had the place to ourselves going on a Saturday afternoon.  I guess other families were napping or watching the Arkansas game;)

Towards the end Harper was getting tired.  She did so good though.  Bo Brook was definitely not the closest pumpkin patch but we had a great time and it was a really pretty place!

Wonder Place Fun

Michael finally finished all of his budget stuff on Wednesday so he was able to take off on Friday.  We had the best time.  That morning I was able to go vote, get a flu shot, and run several other errands with out hauling the girls around.  That was glorious=)  Then after lunch we took off and went to the Wonder Place to have some fun.  We were going to do a pumpkin patch on Friday but it was drizzly and cold so we waited a day.  The Wonder Place was EMPTY on Friday afternoon.  We basically had the whole place to ourselves and the girls loved it.  Eden hadn't been in a year or so and it was Harper's first time.  She had a blast and it was nice that she wasn't getting run over by tons of other kids that afternoon.  After having fun there, we ran over to the mall to get Harper some much needed new shoes.

 The water had to be her favorite spot.  She did it several times and did not want to get out each time.  She was soaked from splashing so hard.

 I think Eden's favorite spot is the dress up center and the stage.  She would dress up over and over again and have us announce her and pull the curtain back for her to show off each outfit.  It was so funny!

 Harper LOVED the toddler area too.  She could have played in there forever.

 They both enjoyed the tubes and watching the balls and handkerchiefs fly threw the tubes.

The girls and I were so thankful that Michael took off work and we could spend the day together.  He has worked so hard on his budgets for this year and we are so glad it is over, until next year.  I'm thankful that stress is over for him and he can relax some, ha!  Up next are the pumpkin patch pictures.
