Easter Sunday

Sunday we all went to church and then came home and took pictures and then had a wonderful meal with my family and the Crumbaugh's. Then the kids had an Easter egg hunt in the front yard with some very strategically placed eggs by some people;) The kids loved it and Eden of course wanted to do it again so she did it a few times all by herself. She loves to hunt some eggs=)

Love this picture. The boys are finally smiling perfectly and Eden is sticking out her tongue. In the other ones she is smiling and the boys are doing something crazy. You never know what you will get.

Eden was done taking pictures but I wanted some of just her so Lindsay started doing crazy moves and Eden mimicked her. These are so funny.

Saturday right before dinner and Spring Sing we found a little time to dye Easter eggs. Eden and I had never done it before so it was really fun to try it this year together. J. David and Eden really got into it as well as Lindsay, Jamie, and myself;)

Easter Weekend: Saturday, Day 2

Saturday was a busy day. We woke up and made breakfast to celebrate my Mom's birthday two days early, which was super duper yummy. Then we got ready and some people went to see the Pied Pipers while Michael, Eden, and I went over to Michael's Grandmothers new place to surprise them with the news. After that we went to an Easter egg hunt on the Harding front lawns and then took Eden home to nap since we knew we would be out late watching Spring Sing that night. Jamie's sister, Natalie, was in it as a freshmen and her show tied for the overall Sweepstakes win so that was exciting. It was a busy and fun day.

Mom's birthday breakfast of two different quiches, monkey bread, and fruit salad. It was so wonderful! Happy Birthday, Mom! J. David and Eden did a great duet of Happy Birthday for her. It was so sweet.

Eden and J. David lined up for the start of the egg hunt. These two were inseparable for most of the weekend. They have the best time together and keep themselves occupied forever. They carry on some major conversations too. You never know what you will overhear coming from their mouths. If you notice the shirts, Mrs. Crumbaugh made them. They were super cute and Eden loved hers. Myles had a matching one too. Thank you Mrs. Kathy!!!


And their off. There were eggs every where and they were all gone within about five minutes. Eden got smart and realized there were some eggs with candy and some without so she would shake the egg when she picked it up and if it had candy it was a keeper and if it didn't she threw it back down. She is so silly sometimes.

These two were always together. People commented on how cute the twins were on several occasions over the weekend, especially when they were holding hands walking every where. It was pretty funny.

Easter Weekend: Friday, Day 1

We got up to Searcy Thursday night and hung out a little bit and then woke up early on Friday to J. David and Myles and the rest of the family that had made it into town late that night. We played and played while the guys golfed and Michael helped move some of his Grandmother's furniture into her new house. All of us girls and kids had lunch at the Cookie Basket (my favorite) with Jamie's mom and two sisters. We took up three tables and we got there first thing and by the time we left there was a huge wait. It was just how I remembered it, Yummy! After lunch we went shopping around the square and we all found a few things. Then it was home for the kids quiet time and some more playing. That evening my mom cooked a delicious dinner for all of us and the Crumbaugh family. Then we played games all together. We are a competitive bunch=)

LOVE this boy. Myles is one of the happiest babies I have ever met. He gives the biggest smiles constantly (Eden was so not like that, you had to work to get her to smile as a baby) and has the prettiest blue eyes. You just want to eat him up all the time.

Friday night after dessert was when Eden announced that she was going to have a little sister. Surprise!

Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes

Last Thursday, Eden and I went to see the Disney on Ice: Princess Wishes. We went to the Disney show last year and she loved it so I knew she would really LOVE this one because it was all about the Princesses. She could hardly wait for them to come out. She was disappointed when Tinkerbell came out first, she is not a huge fan of hers for some reason but then slowly over the whole show each princess came out one by one. She could hardly wait for Cinderella who was last. Cinderella and Belle are her two favorites and then Ariel and Snow White. She loved the whole show and tells people all about it, especially the fire and the fireworks. This was definitely a huge hit and she started to cry (like always) when it was over because she wanted to see it again=)

Cinderella. Eden was thrilled when she came out in her carriage. Her face was priceless but it didn't show up on camera b/c it was to dark in the audience at the time.

GIRL!!!!

We went last Thursday afternoon right before leaving town to Baby Views after being told about it at Bunko. Michael and I decided to find out a little early so we could tell family in person over Easter and to ease some anxiety of mine over whether everything is good or not. Nobody knew we were going so it was a huge surprise. Eden announced it by telling everyone that she was going to have a baby sister which is what she has been saying all along so she got to say it a few times before people asked "Really???? For sure????". It was kind of funny to watch every one's expressions change while they figured it out. So glad we got to do it in person. Shea, the ultrasound tech, was amazing and went over everything thoroughly and told us EVERYTHING she was looking at and measuring. So thankful to God that everything looks great right now and baby girl is measuring a hair longer than what the books say, so maybe she will be tall like her sister. It is always so amazing to see them and watch them move and flip during the ultrasounds. I will have another one with my doctor sometime in May so that will be fun too. We got pictures and the whole ultrasound on DVD so we can watch her over and over again if we want to. I am so glad we did it when we did and now we can start planning for her and coming up with a name.

Future Pro Golfer??

We found this little golf set for super cheap and Eden plays with it all the time. She loves going outside and showing us her skills. The bag came with a driver, putter, and pitching wedge clubs and three balls. She loves hitting the balls over and over again. She is getting pretty good with her eye hand coordination. She just needs reminders every once in a while to keep her eyes on the ball. She will need her daddy and J. Pops to give her some lessons some day to help keep her interest up. Every one in my family plays but me. Maybe I should take lessons with her=)
