Eden learning tricks in the pool.

Harper wanting to be like Eden and wear goggles=)

Eden playing dress up and getting all accessorized.

We had the Bittle's over one night for dinner and Molly and Harper played so well together.  It was amazing!!!  Here they are playing doctor and Molly is giving Harper a shot.

Eden had bring a friend day at gymnastics so she invited Hannah to go with her.  Hannah said she enjoyed it.  I know Eden had fun taking her.

Eden and I being silly together.

Harper stole my smoothie and wouldn't give it back.  Little Stinker=)

One morning we went and checked out the new splash pad in Benton and it was crazy busy but Harper LOVED it.  Eden was a little bored with it but Harper was in HEAVEN and running all over it.  PURE JOY!!!!

One afternoon I watched Jack and Lucy so Carrie could get some stuff done and Lucy wanted to help me make a treat and she even helped me with laundry.  She is the sweetest thing!!!

And this is what Jack and Eden were doing, ha!

Then we had movie and popcorn time!

 Eden last swim team practice.

Coach Casey helping her with her dive.

 My little swimmer!

Daddy finally got the car to work again, YAY!!

Running errands in Target.  This arrangement turned out to be a disaster so we will be going back to the regular cart.

We had a friends birthday party the other day and everyone had a blast swimming and eating dessert.

Cinderella even showed up for Virginia's party.  Like the hair????;)

Playing outside one morning before it got too hot.

Have I mentioned lately that Harper is OBSESSED with sunglasses?  She would wear them all the time if I would let her.

I finally got a picture of Harper and her best bud Hannah.  Harper adores Hannah and she is so sweet to give Harper so much attention.

July 4th

Our Fourth of July was pretty low key again this year.  Michael always has to work on it because the close of the month for his work must go on:(  Our church had their annual Fourth of July picnic the Wednesday of the 3rd so we went out to it and had a blast.  They had it at Burns Park again and had water games this year.  Dinner was great and then all the kids and adults if you wanted could go have fun in all the water activities.  Eden loved the inflatable water slides they had set up.  They looked like a blast!  She had a ball with all of her friends.  I love that our church does this for everyone and for the community.
Eden and her friend, Karly.

Jackson and Eden shooting me with a water gun;)

They had fantastic watermelon that Eden ate a ton of!!!!

 Harper enjoying the playground.

Jack and Lucy climbing on the playground.

On the actual fourth, my parents decided to come down last minute and spend the day with the girls and I at the pool and then we grilled out for dinner and went to see the fireworks downtown.  We had a great time and I'm so glad they came down to enjoy the day with us!!!

 The girls enjoying the pool.

Daddy made it home late afternoon from work.

Leaving the Ship

We left the ship at 8 am on Friday morning and our flight was at 12:20pm to Seattle.  When you cruise they take your luggage the night before you disembark so that you can get off easy and then just pick it up according to the number they give you when you get to the port.  Well when we got off we found one of our bags but not the other.  We looked all over the place and had others looking as well.  I had to fill out a form with all of our information and flight information and they told us to go on to the airport so we wouldn't miss our flight.  They said if they found it they would taxi it to the airport or ship it to us if it was found later in the day.  We were told to ask for a lady by name at the airport and she might know something by the time we got there.  When we got to the airport we happened to ask a lady about this other person and she happened to be standing there with our suitcase.  They had sent it by taxi and since we took a bus and they gave us a 50cent tour of Vancouver it beat us there=)  We were so happy to have our luggage back and our souvenirs since that was what Eden was waiting for at home.  We made our flight and headed to Seattle and then to Dallas from there.  We got into Dallas at 11:30 pm and had to get a hotel and spend the night and then drive home on Saturday morning.

The Olympic torches.  Vancouver looked like a really clean and nice city.  We both would like to go back and visit.

The sunset from the plane that night.

Our Welcome Home sign from the girls.

My parents kept the girls while we were gone and I think the girls had a blast.  They certainly were a hand full when we got back, ha;)  Mom, said they were great while we were gone and we got to talk to them a few times when we were in port.  Michael and I both are so thankful we were able to get away and celebrate our marriage and spend some quality time together.  I would definitely go back to Alaska and cruise again!

Alaska Day 6- Sailing the Inside Passage to Vancouver

Our last day on the boat was cruising through the Inside Passage and into Vancouver on Friday morning when we disembarked.  It was rainy most of that day which I didn't mind since we were having to be in it.

 A penguin towel.

The inside atrium of our ship.  There were 13 floors on the boat.

Our last night before dinner we happened to walk outside and we saw this beautiful rainbow.  It went over the entire boat, it was gorgeous!

 The Inside Passage.

Our table mates.  We had such a great time with them all and were so blessed to get to know them all.
