Christmas 2013

These pictures are not in order and since I'm so far behind in posting I'm not even going to rearrange them because it takes so long.  My mom and Lindsay drove down the night before Christmas Eve to hang out and then my dad drove down after work on Christmas Eve.  We enjoyed having them at our house for Christmas and had a wonderful time all together.

The girls got to open two gifts on Christmas Eve.  One was an ornament from Daddy and Mommy and the other were books from my Aunt Terry and Uncle Joe.  The girls loved them both.  This year Eden got a Fancy Nancy ornament since she did her first verbal book report on a Fancy Nancy book and Harper go a Minnie Mouse ornament because she is so OBSESSED with Minnie;)

Eden loved getting a Fancy Nancy ornament and the meaning behind it.

Harper showing off her book she got.

Santa's surprises waiting to be discovered.

Eden got a basketball goal and ball, a Pogo stick, a karaoke machine, and a couple of smaller things.

Harper got a LeapPad, suitcase, Doc McStuffins, an elephant, and some movies and games.
Santa did good this year.

 Pure JOY!!

They were so EXCITED to see everything!

Eden was super surprised to see the basketball goal outside and put together.

Santa gave Michael and I an iPad and a waffle maker.  I don't know how we made it 11yrs of marriage and never had a waffle maker.  I LOVE waffles!!!

Harper with her LeapPad.  She was so excited and hopefully it will cut down on the fights since she has her own now;)

One night before Christmas we were at the Bittles and got the cutest pictures of the kiddos.  Molly and Eden got into Molly's bed and Harper wanted to stay, ha.  I think she would have spent the night if we had let her.

Eden and Jackson.  Are they not the cutest?

The girls and I taking a selfie;)

ZiZi and Eden. Christmas Eve we decorated a gingerbread house with ZiZi and Mimi.  The girls really decorated it well.

I think Harper ended up eating most of her candy that was for decorating, oh well.

School Christmas Party

Eden's school Christmas Party was short and sweet.  There were only two moms who showed up to help which was a little weird and even Mrs. Osborn said she had never had so few parents show up before.  Kind of crazy!  The kids got to decorate a gingerbread house, then they played some games which were really cute, and then they got to eat their party foods.  Mrs. Osborn is great at organizing and keeping the party moving so there was no down time.  The kids had a great time and that's all that matters.

Eden decorating her gingerbread house.

Eden's good friend, Chase.  He is moving in March and we are so sad.  His family is the only family we have really gotten to know well at Eden's school and we are beyond sad they are moving to Amarillo. We will miss them so much!

 Eden's little admirer, Aaron.

 Mrs. Osborn who we adore!

That night we met the Beggs' for dinner to catch up.  We hadn't had one of our regular dinners in a while so it was long overdue. We had a great time and the girls got some cute Christmas gifts from them.

Annual Cookie Decorating 2013

Every year we try to get together with the Vick's and Keim's to decorate sugar cookies.  This year I hosted it and we had a wonderful time again.  Harper enjoyed decorating but had a greater time eating the cookies.  Eden didn't want to stop decorating her hers turned out so good!  We had a wonderful time decorating friends and I especially look forward to it each year.  Carrie, Jamie, and I love when the kids are done and we get to decorate the cookies ourselves=)

Hannah and Eden are beginning to become quite the little decorators.

Lincoln and Jack did a few and then they were done.

Lucy enjoyed decorating too and then she went to play with Layton!

Harper really LOVED all the sprinkles and added a few too many to her cookies.

Some of Eden's finished cookies.

I'm already looking forward to next years when we get to do it again.
