Valentine's Day 2014

We had a wonderful Valentine's Day celebrating as a family.  We gave the girls some small gifts and went to get ice cream as a little treat all together.

Father/Daughter Banquet

 Our church always hosts a father/daughter banquet around Valentine's Day and this was the first year that our girls have gone.   They take pictures there and serve a great dinner and even provide entertainment.  The Belle and Beaux group from Harding performed this year.  Michael and the girls had a great time.  They might have been fighting for their daddies attention a little;)  We need to plan for him to take each girl out by themselves soon.  I know they would LOVE that!  Here are pictures that I took before they left.

Michael is the greatest dad and he treats his girls like royalty!  They adore him and I'm so glad they have such a great example of what a husband and father should be.  He is the BEST!!!

SNOW!!!!

 We got two inches of snow last weekend and really enjoyed playing in it on Saturday morning.  The girls loved sledding and it was Harper's first time and she was a pro after her first run.  She had a blast and didn't really like sharing the sled, ha;)  The neighbor girl, Addison, even came over to play and sled with the girls for a little bit.  The snow melted pretty quick though and was off the roads by the afternoon.  We were supposedly supposed to get 3-5 inches a few days later and the meteorologists all missed the boat and we didn't get any.  Eden was so mad when she woke up on Tuesday morning and there wasn't any snow.  I love the pictures I got of the girls playing and sledding.  We don't have any snow attire but we bundled up really well and they did great playing in it for so long

Our Wildcat Award Winner, Eden!

 Every month Eden's school presents the Wildcat Awards and Rising Cub awards.  Each teacher can choose a child for an award and every month Eden has been so disappointed that she wasn't chosen for it.  She has done so well and she didn't understand why she wasn't getting it, ha.  Michael and I got a note from her teacher telling us that she was chosen for the Wildcat Award and that she wanted to keep it a secret so Eden would be surprised.  Mrs. Osborn said she really wanted to see her face when she realized she was going to be getting it.  She was definitely surprised and we made it to the assembly to watch her receive it.  It was the cutest thing and we are so proud of her and all of her hard work throughout this school year.

 Eden and Mrs. Osborn.  Mrs. Osborn sure loves Eden and tells me all the time how she can depend on her to do what is needed or things done right.  She sends her all over the school for errands and such and can put her with some of the struggling kids because she is such a helper.  She is such a wonderful blessing and Mrs. Osborn is already claiming Harper for kindergarten when that day comes=)

Eden chose to go to Moe's for her special dinner that night and it was SNOWING!!!!
