Christmas #3

Sunday afternoon Christmas get together #3 was at JoJo's house in Searcy and Michael's dad, Allen, and his wife, Nancy, were there too. We had a wonderful ham and all the fixings, and it was delicious. After dinner we exchanged gifts.

Eden loved seeing The Little Mermaid pajama's she got from JoJo. She got home and had to wear them that night. She has so many cute pajama's she has a hard time deciding which to wear for bed.

She also loved and had to have opened her baby and accessories from JoJo also. She carries this baby around everywhere she goes these days. She LOVES IT!

Vtech VReader. She plays with this over and over again. She loves the stories and the games it has on it. She had played with it every time we were in Target and loved it.

Christmas Day Part 2

Christmas Day evening, we went over to the "G" house for the Clay family Christmas. Thankfully, they had a lighter dinner of soup, finger foods, and dips which was great after our big lunch. After dinner we exchanged gifts and hung out together. Eden, Lydia, and Caroline enjoyed getting to pass out gifts to everyone.

Grandmother had no idea what this black silly looking thing was, but when they revealed the second half of her gift it finally made since. She got a Serger sewing machine. So the black thing is a carrying case for it that can be wheeled around so she doesn't have to carry it.

The much anticipated PINK COMPUTER! Eden played with Lydia's the whole time over Thanksgiving so it was the perfect gift from Jeff, Sarah, and Lydia and what she had told Santa many times she wanted.

Uncle Craig flew home from Virginia on Christmas Day, YEA!!!! It was so good to see him. We miss him so much but he is in a great place with his job and Tiffany in Virginia.

What a wonderful, fun filled Christmas day we had. Stay tuned there's even more.....

Christmas Day Part 1

Christmas morning we all woke up to a text at seven a.m. that J. David and them were up. He had actually been up since before six but they held him off for an hour watching TV up stairs. Thanks for waiting till seven to wake the rest of us. We went in to Eden's room and woke her up and then we all met in the kitchen so the kids could go in and see everything Santa had left at the same time. They were so fun to watch as they discovered which was who's and what Santa had left for them. They also saw that Santa had eaten his cookies and drank the milk they had left for him. He even left a thank you note.

J. David loved the Razorback gear we got him for Christmas. He will be showing his spirit in Missouri.

They got matching cameras and Eden LOVED IT! I knew this would be a perfect gift for her. She hasn't stopped taking pictures with it. Everyday she's taking pictures of something;)

After opening the camera she had to take a picture of every gift there after. It was so funny. Seriously, every gift she opened.

After all of the Santa excitement, we let the kids open a few presents while breakfast was getting ready and then we stopped for breakfast. After we ate the kids finished up and then went to play and watch Toy Story 3 while the adults opened our gifts. We then had a wonderful lunch and then Michael, Eden, and I were off for Christmas round 2.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, it has been a tradition for several years that my dad make his famous broccoli cheese soup. It is always so wonderful and we love it. We didn't do much during the day but finalize a few things and then before we knew it, it was time for Christmas Eve activities.

Christmas Eve we decorated cookies for Santa. They enjoyed doing this but I think they enjoyed the icing even more. Eden's mouth was red for the rest of the night.

J. David and Eden got to talk to Santa on Christmas Eve. Eden, as you can tell, was ecstatic. She loved every minute of talking to him and couldn't contain her joy. She liked telling him that she was on the nice list (according to the two letters from Santa she got in the mail).

We couldn't forget about Santa's reindeer so we had to feed them too on Christmas Eve. Thanks Aunt Jamie and J. David for the Reindeer food.

On Christmas Eve we let the kids open one present. Eden got to open her Christmas pajamas and she LOVED them.

She was SO EXCITED it was finally Christmas. She had been waiting forever for us to finally say Christmas Eve was here and the next morning was Christmas Day.

Christmas Week Festivities

For Christmas this year we were in Searcy for a little over a week. We had several Christmas' through out that week with all of our families. We had a wonderful time and enjoyed getting to spend it with family. My brother, Morgan, and his family were down from St. Louis for a week so we got to enjoy them to ourselves for a whole week. We got lots of loving from J. David and Myles. Of course we ate some delicious meals during the week too.

On Thursday night, we went to see the lights on Harding's campus. Eden loved all the lights hanging from the trees. Love the picture of my parent's with their grand kids.

Eden and J. David loved playing together so much. Here they are playing bedtime together. They would play doctor and it was so funny trying to catch what they were saying to each other. They played AMAZING together. They could have been any cuter.

Their elves left gifts for them on Thursday and Friday nights. They got so excited to see what they had been left for them. They were given really cool flashlights and a stuffed Rudolph.
