On Monday, Morgan, Jamie, Lindsay, Michael, and I had a sibling date. We went to lunch at Brick Oven Pizza and then went bowling. We had the best time and I did beat everyone bowling the first round. I couldn't believe it. My cousin, Joni, and her family happened to show up right after we did so they bowled beside us and we got to visit with them which was great. Thanks to Mom and Dad for watching them for us. That morning it was cold and the kids were restless so Dad and Mom decided they would set up the bounce house that mom got at a garage sale inside the living room. The kids could not have been happier. They LOVED IT!!!! They bounced for an hour and got hot and sweaty, it was great.
Well Tuesday came and Michael and Lindsay ended up getting the stomach bug which was awful and the rest of us were praying really hard that we wouldn't get it again because we had all already had it. Morgan and the family left Searcy on Tuesday evening. We missed them so much after they left. Eden didn't know quite what to do with herself not having J. David to follow around all day:)
On Wednesday, we went over to Marilyn's to hang out with Michael's side some more. Tiffany had driven in from Alabama so it was great to see her and catch up. We played Apples to Apples that afternoon and then we had a great dinner and then another small round of Christmas with Michael's immediate family. Well in between the game and dinner Craig took Tiffany to see the lights over at Harding and then they came back with a BIG ANNOUNCEMENT!!!!!!
THEY'RE ENGAGED!!!!!!
YEA!!!! We could not be more excited for them. We love Craig and we love Tiffany!! She is an answer to many prayers. We could not be happier. Welcome to the family, Tiffany!
After their wonderful news, we had another awesome meal and then presents began again.
Friday we ended packing up and heading back home just in time to get groceries and ring in the new year at home. Not very exciting I know. Michael had to work some on New Year's Day with it being the first and all so it was a relaxing and slow New Year's. We are now trying to get Eden back on schedule and boy has that been a doozy;)
