Family Weekend in Searcy

November 7-12th, Matt and Beth and the kids were able to make it down to Searcy from Michigan so the rest of us all planned to join them and get together.  We usually all get together sometime over the summer for a couple of weeks but Matt tore his Achilles tendon right before they were scheduled to come so he had to have surgery and recover before being able to make the trip and he was still sore (poor guy).  We all had a fantastic long weekend together and enjoyed catching up and sharing family time all together.  It doesn't happen often but we cherish the times it does and we can ALL be together.

It was our family's first time to meet the newest family member, Elle.  She is beyond beautiful and the best baby!!!  It was love at first sight!  We LOVED getting to hold her when we could. Harper was not a fan of Michael or I holding her, ha.  She was super jealous;)  Here are some of the photos that were taken and I was so bad because these are all iPhone pictures.  I didn't break out my big camera at all=(

Eden with some family that also wear glasses.

Beth had bought these super fun headbands for her and her sisters and we had a great time playing with them all weekend.

Elle and I.  She is the absolute sweetest, melt my heart!

Eden holding Elle for the first time!

The big girls would argue over who could hold her, ha.  They couldn't get enough either!

Michael even got some loving from Elle.  When he held Elle, Harper lost it.  She was furious that her daddy was holding someone else=/

 Caroline and Eden

The kids elves left them a scavenger hunt to find them.  The kids loved it!

One of the few stops was in the garage.

 Reading the next clues.

All three of the elves were in the mailbox together.  They thought it would be fun to meet since all the cousins were together for the weekend.

 Eating breakfast together.

 Showing more love for Elle.

Playing in the leaves is so much fun!

Trying to get a picture of Harper and Grandmother together and Michael had to help.

The pajama elves also came that weekend and left their pajamas on Granna's front door.

Aren't they the cutest?  The pajama elves sure do a good job!

 Eden and Brisco playing together.

I finally snagged a picture with him after we built the train house.

 Sweet cousins playing!

I had to get another picture with Elle!

 So did Lydia and Eden.

Eden and Brisco swinging together at the park.  The kids had a blast going to the park.

 Merry-go-Round fun!

Harper finally warmed up a bit to Matt and Craig.  It takes her a while to warm up to the men in her life.

Eden showing off her new charm that Uncle Matt and Aunt Beth got her!  It is beautiful!
