Beauty and The Beast

Last night, we took Eden to see "Beauty and The Beast" at the Robinson Center Music Hall. This is one of her favorite movies and she LOVES Belle. I saw that they were coming so we decided to get tickets. My mom, dad, and Lindsay decided they wanted to go too so we all got tickets together. We met for dinner before hand at Wasabi's and it was delicious. Then we headed over to the Music Hall for the musical. Eden couldn't wait for it to start and then the second it was over she asked if she could see it again. She has already asked several times today if she can do see it again too. She really had a great time and was wide eyed the entire time and it lasted two and a half hours. She also wants a yellow Belle dress really bad now. That may end up on her Christmas list this winter. I can't wait to take her to many more plays and musicals through the years. It is so much fun watching kids mesmerized by everything. I love it!

Funny Eden Story

We were eating dinner tonight at the table and all of a sudden Eden and I both see a bird fly into our glass back door. She flinched like it was going to keep going through the door and get her. It was so funny. Michael had his back to the door and he had no idea what happened. Then Eden yelled, "That was CRAZY!" She pauses and laughs. I tell her the bird hit the window and that it flew off and then she laughs and says, "That bird was knocking on our door!" Michael and I both cracked up laughing because she was so expressive and thought it was so funny. She keeps talking about it now. Y'all will have to ask her about it because she tells it so funny.

For my memory:

*****May 24th, Eden slept in her big girl panties over night for the first time. She kept them dry and she slept almost twelve hours. We even had a late dinner and she had a popsicle before bed so I was a little worried. We are so proud of her. She has been ready for a while and I kept putting it off not really wanting to have to change her sheets in the middle of the night if she had an accident, because once I stand up in the night I can't go back to sleep thanks to being pregnant (Michael has been awesome getting up if Eden needs anything so I can stay horizontal=) Eden gets excited every morning showing us her dry pull up and this morning she came running into the room telling me she kept her panties dry. She is so cute! Love her so much!!!!

Crater of Diamonds

Last Wednesday, my mom, Eden, and I drove to Murfreesboro, AR to the Crater of Diamonds. It is about an hour and a half from us and I have been wanting to go for a really long time and we found the perfect day to go. The weather could not have been more perfect. The high was in the mid 70's, partly cloudy, and low humidity. We dug and dug for hours and we didn't find a thing. Eden had the absolute best time and has asked to go back. She loved digging and playing in the dirt especially the clay, which we called play dough=) She also enjoyed finding lots and lots of pretty rocks (pink, purple, and orange) to bring home in a bucket. We did get to see a professional hunter find a yellow canary diamond and a smaller white diamond. He found those in a hole he dug over five feet down. We weren't prepared to be doing that but maybe next time. He was the only one to find anything that day. We did find some quartz and other pretty things but no diamonds=( The next time we go I will bring a better shovel and will try the water sifting instead of just dry sifting. It was definitely a peaceful day working with our hands and getting dirty. My kind of day=)

Eden eating some of her picnic lunch. They let you take food in and just about anything but glass. Didn't get to many pictures because I didn't want to get the camera too dirty with my hands. We will definitely do this again at some point. We really enjoyed it.

Fun times

Last week I was able to watch Jack and Lucy while Carrie ran errands and we had the best time. Eden and Jack played amazing together the whole time. They were outside for a good while and then came in and played dress up. These pictures are classic and will for sure have to go up at Jack's graduation slide show. He will kill me=)

Lucy was a little angel too. I kept her busy with lots of Eden's old toys trying to keep her out of all the tiny pieces in Eden's room that Eden and Jack had EVERYWHERE!

Lucy is so cute and has the prettiest blue eyes and talk about laid back. She is so relaxed all the time.

On Saturday night, Jeff, Sarah, and Lydia came over to hang out and eat pizza together. The girls played and then decided they wanted to watch Cinderella so in it went. They then started dressing up. They were so funny together. Can you tell which dress Eden won't let go of??

Lawn Creatures

Thursday night Michael did yard work before all the rain was coming. Well he found several little creatures that he wanted to show Eden. She was so excited to see them all. The first was a baby turtle he found. Last year we knew we had a turtle's nest because we kept seeing the mommy turtle and the nest but we never could find the little turtles. Well now we found one baby turtle and Eden loved it. It is so tiny and super cute. They make their home by our air unit outside. He found it weed eating.

Next up, Michael was weed eating again and saw something white flash and wondered what it was. Well it was a little snake. It did not live because the weed eater nicked it but Eden wanted to see it.

Love Eden's face. "EWWW". She kept looking at it and looking at it with the funniest faces. She got a little animal lesson that night. I don't think she had ever really seen a snake outside of a zoo before. Kind of cool=)

America's Next Top Model

Oh my! Thanks to Aunt Lindsay for teaching Eden poses over the Easter holiday (trying to get her to smile and be still) that is all I have been getting from her lately. She is so FUNNY and thinks she is so cute and adorable while doing it, which she is but it's getting a little ridiculous=)

Modeling what she made at CBS for me for Mother's Day. It was our last one until the fall and I'm going to miss it:( Eden will too. She has learned so many verses and bible stories from going there. She loved her teachers too.

Future Cheerleader???

Not sure how I would really feel if she did want to be one but Eden loves being thrown around, raised up super high, and flipped around. She has no fear when it comes to her daddy and several others completely doing crazy things with her. She has great balance and has thrown herself off Michael multiple times assuming he will catch her and of course he always does but has come close a few times when he wasn't expecting it. This is some of their Saturday morning pajama stunts.

Go Eden Go!

He has done this with her standing and she can touch our tall ceilings easily. Michael has threatened to have her change the light bulbs that burn out=) I really don't know if she has a fear of heights at all. Anyways, I guess we will cross the cheerleading road if and when it comes our way, maybe it never will;)
