May Randoms

We have had a busy May so far.  Here are just a bunch of pictures from what we have been up too.

A little photo shoot with Harper.  I love this outfit on her and its a size 12-18 month and fit perfect.  I can't believe it.

Michael reading to the girls before bed.  Love this!

I got to hold a very tired Harper one night.  She never lets you do this anymore so it was a pleasure=)

Eden is still silly as ever.  She definitely keeps us on our toes.

Eden playing the drums on her homemade drum set.  She set up several random things to play the drums on.  She still goes out there and plays "music" on them.

 Carrot faced Harper.

How Harper plays outside while watching Eden.

This was Harper's first time sitting up in a shopping cart.  As you can see, she was not thrilled.  She got very upset and Michael ended up holding her the rest of the time.  Since then she has gotten a little better in them.  She better learn quick;)

Harper and Eden playing in her tent.  They both had a good time in it one morning.

Eden playing golf one afternoon.  She was getting pretty good at hitting it straight and getting some loft with the wedge.

 Hanging out outside.
Harper trying out the riding train.  We need to put batteries back in it so it will make music.  She would really love it then.

Lydia and Eden sitting together at Mimi's cafe.  We met there for lunch the Saturday before Mother's day to eat with Marilyn, Jeff, Sarah, Lydia, and Jack Henry.

Then the girls played and played outside for hours.  They played so well and loved being together.  Neither of them wanted the day to end.

 Granna with the girls.

The girls and I on Mother's Day.

 Eden playing with her food.

While Harper was napping on day, Eden and I made some crafts together.  She loves these hand puppets.

Michael's work had their big picnic on Cinco de Mayo so we went and Eden had a blast.  They have games and bounce houses for the kids and even face painting.  Eden got a butterfly painted on her face and she LOVED it!  She never wanted to wash her face.

After the work picnic we went to a Cinco de Mayo party with our church class that the Brown's hosted.  The kids had water gun fights and sack races.  They had so much fun.  Eden couldn't quite figure out how to jump in the sack but it made a cute picture.  Below is a picture of some of the kids that were present.  It was a wonderful night and we had a great time getting together with everyone.

Schools Out for the Summer

Last Friday was Eden's last day of preschool.  She had a great year at preschool and we can't wait until next year.  They had a little program and all the kids got a certificate and then we partied in their classrooms.  The program was so sweet and Eden's class sang "Zacchaeus was a Wee Little Man" and all the other classes sang something too.  They were adorable.  Eden finished the year with Ms. Brenda who took Ms. Stacey's place sometime after Christmas.  She missed Ms. Stacey a lot but Ms. Brenda was great too. We know we will have a great teacher next year too.  We can't wait.

Eden and I in the car before going into the school.

Eden's class.  Eden is on the top row second from the left.  Top Row: Ava, Eden, Katie, Ella, Lyla, Evelyn.  Bottom Row: Eli, Breanna, Noah, Abigail, and Canyon

Eden was excited to see that Michael made it to her program and party.

This is how Harper and Jake hung out during the party.

The class eating their snack before the craft.

Lyla and Eden

Craft time.  They got to decorate a visor.  The kids loved these.

They are so focused.

Eden and Ava

Katie, Eden, and Ava.  These girls are precious together.

Lyla and Eden.  These two knew each other from CBS bible studies last year.  I'm so glad they were in the same class this year.
Having a little fun outside before the party wrapped up.

This is a picture of Eden on the first day of school and her last day of school.  She has grown so much into such a beautiful little girl.  I love her so much!

And we can't have a picture without her posing.

There are four little girls that Eden is really close to in preschool and we are hoping she will be in class next year with a few of them.  I love the friendships she has developed this past year and we are hoping for some park play dates to get them together this summer.  They are so fun to watch together.  Now I have to figure out what to do with her all summer=)

LET THE SUMMER BEGIN!!!!

More Soccer...

Here are some more pictures of Eden playing soccer.  The other day her team played Lydia's team and they were so cute.  Eden kept asking before the game if Lydia was on her team and we kept having to tell her no and that she was playing against Lydia and her team.  I don't know if she ever got it, ha.  They both played hard and were sweaty by the end of the game.  They both got snow cones afterwards and had fun eating those together too.  They are such a mess together, love them!

Eden getting a turn to kick the ball in.  These are the precious few times she gets her feet on the ball;)  She is not very aggressive at this point, maybe next year she will be a little more so.

LOVE these pictures of the two of them together.  They are such sweet, sweet cousins!

Harper at 7 Months Old

 Harper at 7 Months Old

  • She weighs around 24 lb.
  • She is wearing 12 month clothes and some 12-18mo. clothes due to her torso length.
  • Wears size 4 diapers
  • Eats four 6 oz. bottles a day and still takes Prevacid for reflux
  • She loves her vegetables, fruits, and oatmeal.  She started puffs and loves those and her Baby MumMums.  She is still very impatient when she knows she is about to get a bottle or food.  She fusses until it hits her mouth.  So funny.
  • Harper is sitting unassisted really well.  She has no desire to crawl yet;)  Just rolling all over the place.
  • She is starting to wave and high five when asked.
  • She loves her big girl baths and splashes like crazy, soaking me every time.
  • She loves her sister so much.  She smiles and laughs with Eden all the time.
  • She takes two 2 hour naps and a short one hour nap each day.  She sleeps through the night from 9pm -7:30am.
  • Harper favorite game right now is hide-n-seek or "where's Harper?".  She loves to pull her burp cloth or lovey off her head and grin ear to ear.
  • Harper has gotten so ticklish.  Her thighs, feet, armpits, and back are super ticklish and you can get her laughing really hard tickling her now.  So adorable.  She still has a super low chuckle that we LOVE!
  • Harper still talks like crazy.  She is saying all kinds of crazy sounds but one of her favorites is "dada" over and over again.
  • She is starting to enjoy her stroller more and more which has been great for Eden's soccer games and gymnastics.  She will hang out in there and eat some puffs or play.
  • Eden and Harper are starting to play a little more or interact together more.  I love it when they look at books together or when Eden will show her things.  So sweet.
  • Harper loves playing with her giraffe (Sophie) and with her paci which she enjoys chewing on.
  • She still just has her bottom two middle teeth. We have no idea when the others will start coming in.
  • People keep commenting on how much Harper looks like Eden.  They definitely favor each other and their daddy=)
  • Harper loves to be outside.  She will roll around on her blanket and watch Eden like a hawk.  If Eden gets out of sight and then comes back in to view Harper kicks her legs like crazy and grins so big.  She can't get enough of Eden.
  • Harper reaches for EVERYTHING!  If you have something or even lay anything near her, she has to have it.  She will reach and reach until she gets it or you move it out of sight.  It is so funny.
  • Harper is still a drool bug.  Non-stop drool all the time.  I am ready for that to go;)
  • We left Harper for the first time for three nights with Granna while we ran the 1/2 marathon in Nashville, TN and she did great.

The girls together one Sunday morning.

Harper modeling for me one morning.  She looks so cute in blue with her blue eyes.

These two are so photogenic.  Love them to pieces.

Harper playing in the laundry basket.

Harper enjoying her big girl baths.

Can you see all that water flying?  I am seriously soaked at the end of her baths.  I need to start wearing an apron or something=)

Swinging, another one of her favorite things right now.
