Warm Fall Days

 This fall has been pretty warm so far so we have spent lots of time outside.  Lindsay was in town for a tennis tournament around the first of November so she had a few hours to hang out with us on Sunday.  We always love it when she can make it down and work us into her busy schedule between tennis games and all her local friends, ha.  We see her in between it all.

 Once again I'm playing blog catch up.  This time it's not all my fault;)  The blog asked me to start paying for extra storage for all my photos and posts but I decided to delete some old ones since I had them printed in books.  I wouldn't have cared if it was a small one time fee but they were wanting to charge me every month which adds up so I will just keep deleting for now.  Below are a bunch of IPhone pictures....

 Right after Harper turned one she started throwing some major tantrums.  She will drop and throw her head down on the ground and cry and cry, example above.

 One of my friends is a head decorator at Gigi's cupcakes so we had to try one when they opened.  They are great!

 Eden has been doing really well coloring lately.  She is staying within the lines and actually finishing a picture before moving on.  I love watching her creativity come through.

 Harper has had a tough time with teething.  We have tried all kinds of tricks and nothing helps.  I think she is finally getting some relief a month and a half later.

 The girls love their chairs.  Harper especially is loving hers and if anybody is even touching it she starts pushing them off of it.  She is a little over protective of it.

 Hat day at school.  Eden loved wearing a hat that Grandmother had made.

 Harper during one of her teething spells.  She screams for about thirty minutes without anything distracting her and then she let me cuddle her.  I have seriously never seen a child have such an awful time teething.  

 Harper loves dressing up and wearing all kinds of things.

First Santa Visit of 2012

 One of the elementary schools by us had a big fundraiser and silent auction on a Friday night and they had Santa and Mrs. Clause available for pictures.  I thought it would be fun to go to so we went.  Sarah ended up bring Lydia and Jack Henry and met us there.  Boy was the line long to see Santa.  We waited for a long time.  I took the older girls (while Michael and Sarah stood in line) to fill out their Christmas list and to eat cookies and drink milk.  They enjoyed making their lists and mailing them.

Then we finally got to meet Santa and Mrs. Claus.  I knew Harper would scream so I had Michael place her and run.  I love it!!!!  Could this picture not be more perfect and Santa and Mrs. Claus were wonderful and so cute!  

Thanksgiving 2012

For Thanksgiving this year, Michael took off the whole week since he had several vacation days to burn.  The first half of the week we spent with my family and that second half we spent with Michael's family.  It worked out really well.  Lindsay had to work Thanksgiving and the days following so she was able to spend the first of the week at my parents with us.  I was really bad about getting the camera out so I don't have many pictures from the week.  We had a great Thanksgiving meal on Monday evening after my dad got off work and then we had another meal later in the week with Michael's family.  Harper had a rough Thanksgiving week teething.  She was cutting all four of her molars during that week and she was pretty miserable.  I'm just very thankful that we had extra family around to help distract her some but she was still pretty clingy.

My cousin, Joni, brought over her girls one afternoon and I got to meet her youngest, Lynlee.  She is such a doll.  She is several months younger than Harper and Harper enjoyed loving on her.

The Sunday after Thanksgiving my mom and I took Eden to see the Nutcracker.  She LOVED it.  It was really fun watching her expressions while watching it.  She thought it was the coolest thing when the ballerinas did what she knows how to do from taking ballet.  I had never seen the Nutcracker so it was really fun being able to see it with Eden for the first time.  After the show we went and ate at the Flying Fish.  Eden loves catfish so that was a good treat.  We may have to make the Nutcracker a yearly tradition.
