Harper's Minnie Mouse Party

 For Harper's 2nd birthday I decided to do a Minnie Mouse themed party.  She LOVES to watch Mickey Mouse Clubhouse so to make it a little more girly we went with the Minnie theme.  SHE LOVED IT!  She ate up all the decorations of Minnie and Daisy and the Minnie cake and cookies.  It was the sweetest thing ever!  She really enjoyed having everyone's attention throughout her party=)  We had a wonderful time celebrating with our families and close friends!

Lindsay's Surprise 30th Birthday Party

Harper and Lindsay share a birthday, so when her friends were planning her a surprise birthday party we had to make sure their parties didn't overlap and it was so nice of them to consider us and Harper's birthday!  Those chose to have it on Friday evening of September 27th.  I had a friend come and watch Harper until Michael could get off work because he wasn't able to make it.  Eden and I took off after school and drove to Jonesboro and stopped in Searcy to pick up my parents.  The party started at seven and we made it a little early so we could hide the car and get inside.  The party was at a local BBQ restaurant.

Lindsay had no idea and was completely surprised.  Cord, her boyfriend, and several close friends planned the party while she was in Africa for two weeks.  Cord told her that he wanted her to attend a dinner meeting with him that night and she wasn't super thrilled about it=)  They walked in and she was completely shocked!  Cord did such a good job planning the party and he even worked on a video that had some old pictures of her with family and friends and had messages from family and friends that couldn't be at the party.  It was the sweetest thing ever!

 Harper LOVES blocks and building towers and she has gotten some tall ones made and I have know idea how they stand.  Somehow she finds the balance point, I guess;)

 We were out to eat one night and the girls had gotten a treat with their meals and this is what it did to their mouths.  BLUE!!!

 Harper and I went for donuts one morning before we went to the store.

 Eden's teacher had asked me one day if I could come sub for her for a few hours on a Thursday afternoon and I said yes, because we all know I can't say no;(.  So I found a babysitter for Harper and I went up there and subbed and I will NEVER DO IT AGAIN=)  I know Eden has come home after school telling me who all got in trouble that day and who was sent to the principles office or paddled, so I knew some of the kids would be a handful but what in the world!!!  I am definitely NOT a kindergarten teacher and I am SO thankful for those that are=)  I was only there for two hours and they completely wore me out, ha!  I am glad I know the kids better and I know who she is talking about more so that was a positive.  

I have really been praying for Eden to find a close friend that is at her school.  She started in a school where we didn't know anybody and it has been hard.  Her teacher is fantastic and we love her and the school is very diverse which is wonderful!  I'm just praying she will find her place=)

 While I was there I saw this.  Cracked me up because Eden HATES macaroni and cheese.  I think she just copied several other kids because there were a bunch of macaroni and cheeses listed;)
