Photos of Everyday Life

Harper LOVES blocks and building towers and she has gotten some tall ones made and I have know idea how they stand.  Somehow she finds the balance point, I guess;)

Harper is really getting into puzzles.

We were out to eat one night and the girls had gotten a treat with their meals and this is what it did to their mouths.  BLUE!!!

Harper and I went for donuts one morning before we went to the store.

Eden's teacher had asked me one day if I could come sub for her for a few hours on a Thursday afternoon and I said yes, because we all know I can't say no;(.  So I found a babysitter for Harper and I went up there and subbed and I will NEVER DO IT AGAIN=)  I know Eden has come home after school telling me who all got in trouble that day and who was sent to the principles office or paddled, so I knew some of the kids would be a handful but what in the world!!!  I am definitely NOT a kindergarten teacher and I am SO thankful for those that are=)  I was only there for two hours and they completely wore me out, ha!  I am glad I know the kids better and I know who she is talking about more so that was a positive.

I have really been praying for Eden to find a close friend that is at her school.  She started in a school where we didn't know anybody and it has been hard.  Her teacher is fantastic and we love her and the school is very diverse which is wonderful!  I'm just praying she will find her place=)

While I was there I saw this.  Cracked me up because Eden HATES macaroni and cheese.  I think she just copied several other kids because there were a bunch of macaroni and cheeses listed;)

Zoo Day with Friends

Harper and I were invited to go to the zoo with our friends, Alex, Caden, and Beckett.  We had a great time and it was the perfect morning for it.  All the animals were out and NOBODY was there.  It was kind of crazy but perfect!  Harper and I both loved all the animals and I think we could sit and watch them for hours.
A very heavy monkey!

Harper and I enjoying our day!

 Caden on the gorilla!

Harper watching the penguins swimming around.

This snake was climbing up the wall and it was trying to get to a shelf that was higher up.

The lone elephant.  The zoo had an elephant die a couple of weeks ago.  It was kind of sad.  I hope they find another one to keep this one company soon.

I love spending time one on one with Harper doing fun things.  I can tell you, Eden was not happy about Harper and I going to the zoo without her.  She loves the zoo!

The tiger was eyeing us, eew!

Harper had a blast playing with Caden on the playground.

Harper and I with Alex and Beckett was asleep in his stroller.

Michael's 34th Birthday

Michael's birthday is on Sept. 15th and we celebrated by going to church and then to lunch at Macaroni Grill.  We then went home and he opened his gifts and had cake=)

Happy Birthday to the best husband, friend, and father I know.  WE LOVE YOU, MICHAEL!!!

Cute September Pictures of Harper

Since Eden is in school now, I realized most of my pictures are of Harper now.
Spending some time outside and playing at the picnic table.

She loves the new swing set.

She can climb and slide all  by herself.

Harper and I dressed in teal for Ovarian Cancer Awareness.  Our friend, Paula Shields, was diagnosed with it last year and is currently doing wonderful!!

Saline County Fair 2013

Julie called and asked if Eden and I wanted to go to the Saline County Fair with her and Jackson.  We said sure so we took off on that Friday night and had a blast.  We even went to the rodeo too.  Eden loved the rides and watching the rodeo.  She was really impressed with the girls that rode the horses and such.  We had a great time!

Jackson and Eden getting out of the car!

How sweet are they holding hands walking into the fair?  Precious!

Checking out all the rides and trying to decide where to start.

The swings were a big hit and they rode them twice.

Jackson is sitting two seats behind Eden.

 Riding the Jeeps.

 Rodeo FUN!

After a while, Eden and Jackson ended up down by the rodeo floor and they were getting dirt and I'm sure poop flung all over them, GROSS!!!
