Cousin Fun!

My mom was in St. Louis last week and Morgan and Jamie let her bring the boys back with her for a few days.  We were so excited.  Eden, Harper, and I drove up to Searcy on Sunday night and stayed through Tuesday night.  We had a great time with J. David and Myles, mom and dad, and Lindsay who was there one night with us.  I'm so glad we got to see them.

Harper had watermelon for the first time and inhaled it.  I think she liked it a little bit.  Two nights later when she saw that we were eating it she threw a fit until she got some.  It was so funny.

 Myles and Harper together.

We went to the park on Monday and Tuesday mornings before it got too hot.  We all had a good time there.  On Monday, we brought water guns for the kids and us to have fun with and fun we did.  It was pretty funny.  Mom and Lindsay ended up having a huge water fight and dumping buckets of water on each other=)

Myles having fun on the swings.

 Water fight.  Ready to go!

Mom hiding behind the tree waiting to ambush J. David and Eden.

I think they were a little shocked and took off running=)

Harper hanging out at the park.

Myles getting mom wet.  It took him a while to figure out how to get it to shoot but once he did you had to watch out.

 LOVE Myles big grin.

They are both a little wet.

Harper wanting to get in on the action.

This series of photos are pretty funny and typical of trying to get a good picture;)

 Quiet time watching a movie.

It was so hot during the afternoon, we tried finding a pool and calling several people who had one but nobody answered so we compromised with sprinklers and buckets of water.
Harper in her bucket of water.  She loved it!

The older ones and Harper waving at the camera.

Harley even enjoyed the coolness of the water.

Harper thinks she is so big eating avocado and black beans.

This big red exercise ball was such a huge hit!  They played and played with it.

Eden and Myles hanging out together.

The band performing together.

We had such a great time and we get to see them again in a little over a week.  I can't wait to see the boys again and hang out with Morgan and Jamie too.  Yay!!!!

Iphone Catch Up

These are just a bunch of random pictures from my phone.

The girls one morning before church.

Harper eating cut up bananas for the first time.  They were a little difficult for her to pick up once they got slimy.

 Harper crawling.

See?  She doesn't always smile.  We have had two weeks of her being really fussy.  Her top four teeth are all trying to come in at once. She has gotten three of the four as of today.

This is the sweetest picture.  Eden and Harper holding hands in the car!!!!  I LOVE IT!!!

 Harper on the move.
Our two beautiful cowgirls!  These two are going to have so much fun dressing up together.

Harper leaned forward into her spoonful of peas I was holding=)

 I love Instagram!!

The girls playing across Eden's tray.  They were passing toys back and forth over it.

Eden asks to hold Harper all the time but Harper is never still for long anymore so it is getting harder and harder for Eden to hold onto her.

 Harper's first ponytail.  Adorable.

 Eden being just plain silly!

I look Harper's look after a bath.  She looks so much like Myles sometimes its not even funny.  They make some of the same expressions, it's crazy!

I put Eden to work the other day, ha!  She asked to help vacuum.  I will let her do anything she asks when it comes to helping clean up.

Last week, Michael and I went to the Lady Antebellum concert.  Thompson Square and Darius Rucker opened up for them.  We had standing room only on the floor by the stage and had a great time.  We were tired at the end after standing for four hours straight but it was a lot of fun.  They video taped this concert for something they are doing so it was really good.

We were really close.  I loved it!  I have some great video I will try to remember to post sometime.

The Great War Memorial Balloon Race

A few weekends ago we met my parents for an early dinner and then we went to the Great War Memorial Balloon Glow.  They did the glows at night and the races early in the morning.  We all wanted to see the hot air balloons.  I was so excited to see them and Eden was too.  We got there just in time to see them start blowing them up and to see how they get them up and standing.  It was really cool.  When it started turning dark they started lighting them up to make them glow.  The sight was pretty amazing.  I absolutely loved it.  We all enjoyed seeing them.  Eden was a little disappointed that they didn't fly that night but on our way to church on Sunday morning we saw one in the sky so that helped.  We will definitely go again sometime.

The balloons glowing behind the tree line.

The balloons closest to us lighting up.

We watched them get this balloon up.  I tell you it is something.  They blow it up slowly and there is a guy holding a rope that is attached to the top of it and he is way out holding tension and when it starts getting bigger he slowly starts walking towards the balloon.  Sometimes it took more than one guy.
 My dad holding Eden.

 The balloon is getting bigger....

Eden getting an even better view from the top of Michael's shoulders.

Our family in front of the first balloon up.

J. Pops and Mimi with the girls.

This monkey balloon was named, Gordo, after the first monkey in space with NASA.  This was Eden's favorite balloon.

This balloon was giving rides up to 50 ft.  Next time I am doing it;)

This guy didn't even have a basket on his balloon.  He was just in a seat.  Kind of crazy looking.

Eden had a blast running around looking at all of the hot air balloons.  It really was impressive!

Lots of the balloons lined up.

We all really enjoyed getting to see them glow.  They were so pretty.
