The Beat Goes On 5k

 On February 25th, I ran my first 5k.  My dad, Michael, and I ran it together.  I had never done one together and I think I picked a hilly one to start with but it wasn't bad.  I also go to run it with a past Biggest Loser contestant, Becky Comet.  She was on last years season.  She was running it with her son and she spoke to everyone right before the race.  She still looks great.  I was very excited to finish it and I am really praying I will finish the 1/2 Marathon I have been training for that is at the end of April.  So far I have not found the joy in running, if I'm being truthful, but I am trying really really hard too.
