Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning

We spent Christmas Eve and Christmas morning at our home this year and then we drove up to Searcy for the remainder of the week.  Christmas Eve was pretty uneventful.  Eden and I decorated cookies to leave out for Santa and to take some to Searcy.  I prepared the food for our Christmas breakfast and finished up a bunch of loose ends.  The girls both got to open one gift on Christmas Eve and they were happy about that.  We left out milk and cookies for Santa and said goodbye to "Charlie" our Elf.  Eden cried because she didn't want him to go, she is so tender hearted:)

Eden's cookies that she decorated for Santa.

A few of the ones I decorated.

Christmas morning Michael and I were both up and waiting on the girls for a while.  Eden finally woke up a little after 8 am.  We made her stay in her room until we got Harper up.  Both girls walked out into the living together and saw their Santa stuff.  It was so fun.  Eden was beyond happy with what Santa brought her and Harper was too, once she realized the toys were for her too.  After the girls opened up all of their presents we had breakfast.  I made a breakfast casserole, monkey bread, and fruit.  It was delicious!!  After we got ready and rushed to pack we headed to Searcy and got there around noon.

Our tree with what Santa left behind that night.

 Harper's Santa pile.

Eden's Santa pile.

Harper playing with her little musical vanity.  She LOVES the bracelet and wears is all the time.

Harper was loving this Christmas and really got into playing with the paper and boxes, ha=)

Eden was so excited about the make-up kit Santa left her.  She couldn't wait to put on some play eye shadow.

Michael with his girls.  Harper did not want to sit still for pictures.  Every time we tried to get a picture of her sitting or held even for a second that morning she was screaming.  She wanted to play with all her new stuff.

Eden was most excited about the Stompeez Santa left her.  She had been asking Santa for a long time for these.

Harper getting into all of her blocks.

Eden's first Barbie.  A nurse Barbie, just like her mom, Aunt ZiZi, and Mimi.

Harper got some new sippy cups too.

Eden gave Harper a new baby doll for Christmas.  I think she likes it.

 "Hello, Hello, Anybody there?"

 New clothes.

Each girl got a new ornament.   Eden really liked her Repunzel one.

Harper got new clothes too and really like it. Look at her holding up that shirt all by herself.  Cracked me up=)

Eden trying on her new sweater that her daddy picked out for her.

We had a wonderful Christmas morning all together as a family.  We are so thankful for the greatest gift that was ever given to us and the reason for Christmas, Christ's birth!
