Harper had her first taste of food while we were in Searcy. We have been battling constipation with her forever. Between her Zantac and the rice we have to add to her bottles to keep her milk down it is a never ending problem. We have been giving her pear juice but it doesn't seem to help very much. Well Sarah happened to have some pear baby food that she had made Jack Henry and it was so smooth that we tried to give Harper some. She LOVED IT!!!!! She didn't spill a drop. She sucked it right off the spoon and ate every bite. It was so funny. And it worked. Later that night she was able to go but I had to help pull it out. It was awful. We have got to come up with something that will help better and keep her more regular. Anyways, enjoy her first food pictures......

I broke out the Bumbo the other day. Harper loves sitting up in our laps so I thought she would enjoy doing it on her own. I'm not sure she knew what to think. She was a little overwhelmed I think. She looks so big in it.

Btw, don't know if this is Harper's problem or not, but Layton was having trouble going to the bathroom when he was really little too. The dr had to stretch his little hole and it helped a ton!! He never had anymore issues.
She is SUCH a happy baby!!! All of my babies made horrible faces when they tasted food for the first time. Love that she was so excited!
